The areas at risk are low lying land and roads around Kilnsea Southfield Farm, Kilnsea Caravan Park and Spurn Road. Overtopping is forecast during Friday morning’s high tide on 29/11/19 between 06:30 and 08:30. Please be careful along beaches, coastal footpaths and roads as large waves and spray could be dangerous. We will continue to monitor the forecasts and will update this message by 9am on Friday morning, or as the situation changes.

In addition, wave overtopping and spray is forecast again during Friday morning’s high tide on 29/11/19 between 06:30 and 08:30. The tide has now peaked, but high water levels and windblown spray due to strong onshore wind conditions means that this alert is expected to be re-issued later today for this evening’s high tide on 28/11/19. Please be careful along beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads as large waves and spray could be dangerous.
